Nats, Mets celebrate July 4 in nation`s capital

Each year since moving to Washington in 2005, the Nationals have celebrated Independence Day in the nation`s capital with American-themed apparel, fireworks and baseball. The Nats will continue that tradition when they host the Mets at Nationals Park on Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. ET, a game that`ll honor America but also serve as a crucial bout in the NL East race.
